LastPass Account Change Process

After the change has been submitted, there will be an email in your inbox notifying you that an admin has changed your assigned email address. There won't be any links for you to click so if you get an email asking you to click a link, don't. 


The next time you attempt to sign into lastpass, you will see this window:

Go ahead and click that link to log into the LastPass.com website. The prompt is a bit misleading as it may look like it is asking you to make a new master password. If you try to do that, it will fail. Use your past master password to get in. 


It will then complete the account update process. 
At this point, you may now log back into the extension with your new email address and existing LastPass master password. 

Updating accounts in LastPass that use your old email address. 

Find all the accounts in your LastPass that use your old email address. Open your vault and simply search for your old email address. 


This will show all accounts that use your old account. For the apps that IT is updating for you (SafeSend Returns, Safesend Exchange, Zoom, Prolera, SurePrep, Abdo Support Portal, Jostle) You can simply edit these now. 

And just update your username to use your new email address. 


For accounts that IT is not managing for you, Launch those sites, update your email address for those sites, and then do this same process for those sites.
