How to Use SessionDesktop With Multiple Displays

When you first open session desktop, it will by default use all 3 displays. This can be a bit cumbersome to work with given that you run teams locally. Fortunately, you can scale the session to only say use 2 out of 3 displays. How to do this?

Option 1 (the on "ON THE FLY" approach).

  1. Launch session desktop
  2. Wait for it to complete the login process.
  3. Click Window mode/exit full screen button:

  4. Now, drag the window to be in-between the displays you want it to occupy, and then hit full screen. It will now be full screen, but ONLY on the displays it was touching before being expanded.
After doing this, you will be able to have one screen completely separate for local apps, and 2 screens dedicated to apps running in the Abdo Cloud Session Desktop.

Option 2 (the preconfigured approach)

  1. Right click SessionDesktop and then click settings

  2. Uncheck "use default settings"
  3. Choose the monitors and settings you wish like so:
